MS. ICE

As most of you know, the last few weeks have been cold, snowy, and icy! In New York, it would snow the whole night and then would start raining in the morning. With temperatures below freezing, well, everything froze. Unfortunately, the schools in NYC do not close unless there is a life threathening storm coming our way, so to school we went!

Moreover, streetside parking entailed climbing on to an iced-snow mountain. Think of those SUV commercials you see on TV where the SUV can climb over anything. My part was playing the actress who drove the SUV:-) SWEET!

It was literally a lot of fun! But what wasn't so much fun was the fact that the side walks were completely iced over, and we had to walk a few blocks and manage to stay on 2 feet.

Our sidewalks were actual ice-skating rinks. If only we had ice-skates! Sigh.

This weeks Hijabified look is inspired by the Icy sidewalks of Manhattan.

Note: The models were dressed in a computer program where hijab options are limited. Unfortunately, this program does not carry our designer comfijab. We realize some of her hair, neck and ears are showing. Please don't think that we are trying to make everyone show their neck, or dress in a certain way. Make your own decisions wisely!
